Design that goes all the way through.
I’m Bayardo — a Senior Product Designer with 10+ years of experience turning complex SaaS problems into products that feel effortless to use.
What makes me different isn’t just the craft — it’s that I work like a real partner. For years I’ve been the trusted thought partner for VPs of Engineering, CTOs, and COOs, the person in the room who helps technical and business leaders think through hard problems instead of just delivering screens.
My work spans the full product lifecycle: from early discovery and facilitated Design Sprints to interaction design, design systems, and shipping to production. I’ve led UX on B2B SaaS platforms, client-facing web apps, mobile products, and internal tools, always with a Service Design lens.
I take on a small number of projects at a time, intentionally, so I can stay close to the whole user journey from start to finish. Because the work I’m most proud of is the kind that only happens when there’s a real, focused partnership between the people involved.

I’m not a vendor you hand a brief to. I’m a partner you think alongside. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

I get into the problem first
Before touching any design tool, I need to understand the real challenge — not just the brief. I bring facilitation, UX research, and Design Sprint methodology to help teams get to the right problem before jumping to solutions.

I design the whole experience
I think in full user journeys, not individual screens. From the first touchpoint to the edge cases no one wants to talk about — I keep everything in view, and I stay involved until the product ships.

I raise the bar for everyone around me
Multiple people who’ve worked with me — across engineering, operations, and design — say the same thing independently: working with me makes their own work better. That’s the kind of partnership I aim for every time.

04 — The Journey
Ten years, told as one continuous story — how a love of craft slowly grew into leading products, teams, and direction.
Foundations
I came up through visual and creative design — obsessing over detail, type, and how a thing actually feels in your hands. That early grounding is still the foundation under every product I touch today.
The Proving Ground
At LAFISE I led the UX overhaul of BancaNet, an online banking platform used by thousands of people every day. It meant listening to a lot of voices, sitting with real complexity, and turning it into something people could actually trust. It’s where I learned to hold craft and pressure at the same time.
Learning To Lead · 5 Years
Over five years I grew from designing screens to setting direction — building a small cross-functional team, partnering closely with engineering leadership, and weaving new tools into how we worked. I learned that the best decisions are rarely made alone.
The Next Chapter
Today I work with a small number of SaaS teams at a time — embedded in the process, thinking alongside product and engineering, and staying until the work is right. The next chapter is the one we write together.
